Tickets, entry and accessible facilities

Tickets, entry and accessible facilities

Event-specific timings and other information are sent nearer the event by the ticket provider. Check your event’s instructions for entry times and ticketing before setting out.

Scottish Rugby’s ticket terms prohibit bags larger than A4 dimensions—30 cm × 21 cm × 21 cm—with exceptions for medical or childcare bags and official VIP merchandise tote bags. All bags are searched before entry, and there is no bag-drop facility at the stadium or nearby.

Umbrellas of any size and externally purchased food or alcohol are not allowed; food required for medical purposes is an exception. Sealed, clear, soft-plastic drink bottles and soft, collapsible reusable water bottles are permitted up to 500 ml. Children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

There are two accessible turnstiles: one beside the Gatehouse, opposite the tram stop, and another at the North turnstiles beside the Ice Rink. Event-day Accessible Support team members wear pink bibs at both entrances. Scottish Rugby identifies lift access, a Changing Places facility, accessible parking, assistance-dog spaces and a sensory room among its disability-support offerings; some require advance arrangements.

For men’s international matches and concerts, Scottish Rugby operates an event-day Accessible Shuttle for ticket holders who need additional support getting to their seats.

It cannot carry wheelchairs or mobility scooters, and it takes up to four guests at a time; accompanying guests who do not need the buggy are asked to walk alongside it. The distance to pitchside is 275 metres from the Gatehouse accessible entrance and 310 metres from the Ice Rink accessible entrance.

The City of Edinburgh Council publishes event-specific information about roadworks, road closures and parking restrictions. Check its current travel updates and the notice for your event before travelling. If you walk to the stadium, respect residents’ homes; Roseburn Park is busy with ticket holders on event days.

Overnight camping is not allowed in the stadium-event area, and barbecues should not be brought there.
